WIFFLE® Ball is for kids in kindergarten through 8th grade, with three divisions: K-2, 3-5, and 6-8. High-schoolers are welcome too — as referees.

Your Season at a Glance

  1. Combine Day: radar-gun pitching, distance-hit derby, and fun base-running drills to balance teams.

WIFFLE® Ball League — Parent Questions

  • No. Wiffle Ball is one game each Sunday afternoon — about an hour. No weekday practices and no travel, so your week stays open.

  • Kids in kindergarten through 8th grade, in three divisions: K-2, 3-5, and 6-8. High-schoolers are welcome as trained youth referees.

  • Games are at the Hinsdale South High School Field House in Darien, with the 2026 season running Sundays from January 4 (Combine Day) through March 1.

  • Yes — it's built for beginners. Games use lightweight perforated WIFFLE® balls and soft plastic bats, so no hardballs or gloves are needed, and every kid bats most innings.

  • Yes. Teams are co-ed and all skill levels play together. The goal is fun and at-bats for everyone, not tryouts.

  • Registration covers a team shirt, all bats and balls, the skills Combine Day, eight Sunday games, and the Championship Bash finale.
